Two lovable West Virginian hillbillies, are headed to their fixer-upper vacation cabin to drink some beer, do some fishin, and have a good time. But when they run into a group of preppy college kids who assume from their looks that they must be in-bred, chainsaw wielding killers, Tucker Dales vacation takes a bloody hilarious turn for the worse.

For Those Reviewers Who Love It So Do I A Instant Classic Take 2Misunderstood Hillbillies+Stupid College Kida+Hot BlondeChick+Horror+Comedy=Instant Cult Classic Dale Is My Hero.Me Being ABigger Guy I Relate To Him I To Have The Same Problem with women and hehas a hottie Fall in his lap. See This If You Can Find It I Watched Itonline on some site that streams movies can't remember where and ihighly recommend i would so buy it if it is ever released. I Don'tReally Know Anything Else To Say about this film other than it is afunny movie and a must for horror and comedy fans. The Cast IsAwesome.Yhe Story is Awesome And Original. Some of the lines in it willbecome classics and just the way they talk is funny sometimes like whendale says"Shitterhole" The Movie had me at moments rolling on the floorlaughing
I have been on an epic journey to find a companion piece for one of myfavorite horror/comedies for years, a search that has been tormentedwith poorly made and abysmally acted b-rate flicks that could tormentthe soul with their mediocrity and poor cinematography.Since seeing Behind The Mask: The Rise Of Leslie Vernon I have fallenin love with the black humor style that doesn't quite make one think ofmovies like Very Bad Things so much as a very dramatic Monty Pythonsketch. Worse still is trying to find one that is smartly written andhas acting that at the very least can be considered on par with asci-fi original movie. Tucker and Dale VS. Evil far exceeds the bill.Lets not get crazy here and say the movie is packed with award winningactors or special effects but for a cast consisting of mostly unknowns(sans the titular Tucker and Dale of course) the level of acting farexceeds expectations. Not only is it better than one would expect itgets better the closer to the end one travels, compare the scene earlyin at the gas station with the hunt at the end and you will see aparticular inhaler-using characters' acting grow leaps and bounds, infact this early salvo of college co-ed banter is quickly dismissed aspossibly a test shot when you compare the kids to what they will becomea mere 30 minutes later. The humor is relentless and insanely funny, the use of villain shots, for Dale particularly, is interspersed beautifully throughout. At timesone could imagine that if you knew nothing of the soft heartedhillbillys you would certainly think they where on a vendetta to murderyou. I grew so attached to Dale that I actually wished he could beprotected from having to witness the senseless, and extremely funny, violence around him.Combine an evening of Behind The Mask with some Tucker and Dale VS Eviland you will laugh your ass off, and maybe think a bit differently whenlooking at the bad guy in any classic horror movie.
This movie was brilliant! It was basically a comedy built onmisunderstandings and on "role reversals"-the good guys misunderstoodthe motives and attacked the "bad guys." Some preppie college kids anda pair of hillbillies are travelling to the same part of the woods inseparate trips. They stop off at the same gas station, and one of themapproaches the ladies and tries to make friends with them withdisastrous results. Later one night, the hillbillies are fishing at thesame lake where the kids are skinnydipping, and one of the girls seesthem while she's taking off her clothes, slips into the water, and getsknocked out. The hillbillies rescue her and take her back to the cabin, and the other kids think they kidnapped her. Hilarious complicationsand situations result and abound. I love the hillbillies' performances, and this was a good movie. See it if you've got time to kill.** 1/2 out of ****
Hillbillies have never been funnier than in "Tucker and Dale vs Evil". Ok...maybe they have been but you'd be hard pressed to find an instance. This is an extremely cleverly written and well shot movie that shows how funny and out of control simple misunderstandings can become. High five to writers Morgan Jurgenson and Eli Craig (Craig also directed and makes a cameo as a news cameraman) Best friends Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) finally realize their dream of buying a vacation cabin in the backwoods of West Virginia, so they head up to relax and do some fishing. On the way up they bump into a group of college kids at a gas station also heading up to the lake for some partying fun. Right from the get-go the hilarity starts as Dale tries to talk to one of the girls who gets frightened by his hillbilly appearance and the large sickle he carries over as a walking stick. As the movie progresses Tucker and Dale are fishing at night while nearby the college kids are skinny-dipping. One of the girls Allison (Katrina Bowden) falls of a rock and nearly drowns if not for the heroic efforts of Tucker and Dale. Unfortunately the kids only see them dragging her onto their boat and believe they are kidnapping her. The movie kicks into high gear as a series of misunderstandings and accidental deaths keep you wondering what will happen next! The special effects and gore were really well done on this one and the music score was spot on creating a wonderful feel to the movie. Great acting all around with some really memorable characters. If you're looking for a well written, funny movie then I highly recommend "Tucker and Dale vs Evil"This review originally posted at scaredstiffreviews website
Two friends buy a vacation home together, which is a cabin in thewoods. A series of misunderstandings follow, leading a group of collegekids to accuse them of being deranged serial killers. What ensues isboth hilarious and gory...Let me first point out the great cast: Tyler Labine as Dale, Alan Tudyk("Dodgeball" and "Knight's Tale") as Tucker. A sexy newcomer namedKatrina Bowden as Allison, and Jesse Moss ("Dear Mr. Gacy") as Chad. The rest of the cast is also great, but these key roles made the wholething perfect and the comedy a smash. My girlfriend and I saw this at HorrorHound Weekend in Indianapolis, and we loved it. I would say she loved it even more than me, with itkeeping her laughing the whole time. That, and she loves wood chippers.Yes, there is a wood chipper, and yes, it does get used. That aloneshould make you want to see it!The version we saw was a work print, so not all the special effectswere in place yet. But the humor is what carries the film -- the wholeidea of college kids being the heroes and hillbillies beingcannibals... it is taken here and twisted, with no real bad guys atall. (The title is somewhat misleading... at no point did the guysfight "evil".)I wish I could write a better review, but I could only do that if Ipointed out flaws, and there just are not any I can think of. It waswell-paced, funny, bloody, sexy (though there is never any nudity) andsomewhat charming. This is really a horror-comedy that I think everyonecan get behind.
Everyone has seen those horror movies where a group of college kids goout to the woods and get brutally, horribly slaughtered by backwaterhicks...This isn't one of those movies! This movie takes that genre and turns it on its head, and tells thestory from the standpoint of the hillbillies. With strong acting allaround, excellent directing and production, and a script that issolidly funny, this movie delivers laughs and horror in a quirky tonguein cheek. Why wasn't this movie all over the theaters? Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine give great performances as Tucker and Dale, two West Virginian hillbillies who are surprisingly witty, smart, modern, and even urbane, without losing any of their rednecked"hick-i-ness".A Must See!
I've just seen this movie at the Fantasy Filmfest in Berlin and was totally surprised of the high quality. I thought this would be "just another" horror comedy you would forget instantly after leaving the cinema, but with the fantastic acting of Alan Tudyk and Tyler Labine, the funny story and great effects, it works as well with the backwood slasher genre as "Shaun of the Dead" did with zombies. The crowd in the cinema went totally crazy about this film, they applauded and cheered throughout the film and after the first positive reviews by bloggers the screenings in Munich for example were sold out in just three hours after starting the pre-selling. Totally recommendable, and I really hopes this movie makes it to the cinemas worldwide.
This movie has grown out to be a fan favorite and even a bit of a cultclassic already. I however was less impressed with it. Yes, it's a goodand fun movie but it at the same time is also far from a great orhilarious one.Thing that makes this movie is its originality. It's an horror comedythat is unique with its approach really. The movie plays out like anactual serious horror/slasher, in which a bunch of teenagers end updeath, one by one. Only difference is that they are killed due to theirown stupidity and prejudices against rednecks. They mistake Tucker &Dale for bloodthirsty serial killers and no matter what Tucker & Daletry to show their friendly nature and good intentions, things only getmade worse due to the big misunderstandings between the two differentsocial classes. And this is why I foremost liked this movie. It plays out like a realmodern slashers, in which a bunch of teenagers get stuck in the woodssomewhere and end up all getting killed off, one by one. It reallyprogresses in the same way as an actual serious slasher and alsofeatures all of the clichés and formulaic characters. You could saythat "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" is a real spoof of the genre and does agood job at it, while also still being original on its own, despite thepresence of all of the familiar clichés.This is also where the movie draws all of its comedy from. It makes themovie fun and tongue-in-cheek but I can't really say that the movieever becomes an hilarious one. The movie is not well enough written forthat and it's lacking a certain edge that allows things to goover-the-top more, like for instance a movie like "Shaun of the Dead"did all had in it.It's not to sound like a nitpick but it's just so that the movie isn'tas good as it potentially could had become and the fan-boys aredrooling a bit too much over it right now. But having said that; Iobviously still really liked the movie and also thinks it's a bit ofshame that the movie isn't more recognized, by a broader audience. It's definitely a skilfully made movie, also especially when youconsider its recourses. This was a low-budget and low-key production, also without any real big names involved. I only wished that theydidn't used so many CGI for its gore effects. Seriously, stop doingthat horror film-makers out there. It's so cheap and fake looking.I really liked it a lot, just didn't loved it as everyone else thatwatches it seems to do.7/10 http://bobafett1138.blogspot.com/
I just finished watching 'Tucker and Dale Vs Evil'. The film wasrecommended by a friend. It was one of the funniest films I've seen ina while. It's right up there with 'Wasting Away' and other good recenthorror comedies. In fact it would make a fun double feature with. Inbrief Tucker and Dale is the story of two nice guy Hillbillies that aremistakenly thought to be psycho killers by some college kids. Hey withall the movies on that subject who could blame them. Through a seriesof freak accidents they start to look more and more guilty. I very muchenjoyed the film. It even has a cute love story in it...a bit hard tobelieve but cute non the less. I hope we see Tucker and Dale again inanother flick soon ! Oh and Dale's dog too.
I had been meaning to check out this film since I saw the trailer a fewmonths ago but it was never released around here. I know I keep sayingthat about films but it just seems like it's always the case. Thatwhole no releases near us is weird because we are only an hour outsideof LA as the crow flies. I think that is probably a good rant topic foranother post. Anyhow, lucky day it's now available on Netflix forinstant streaming.Tucker and Dale vs. Evil tells the tale of a couple of good old boysfrom Virginia who set off to their fixer up cabin in the woods in thehopes of relaxing, drinking some beers and doing a little fishing.Tucker and Dale look like your typical NASCAR watching, dip spitting, deer hunting hillbillies. Bad luck starts to befall them as they areset upon by a group of preppie college kids who decide to set up campnear their cabin. Happenstance and misunderstandings lead the spoiledcollege kids to determine that Tucker and Dale are deranged back woodshillbillies that want to cut them up with a chain saw. There is some gore, hot college girls in daisy dukes, horror andsuspense in this film but it's not so bad that I didn't enjoy the filmand I am not really into horror films. The movie actually is more of aShaun of the Dead type anti-formulaic horror comedy. The set up is thesame but the villains and heroes are not who you expect them to be. I think this film succeeds in poking fun at, while paying homage to theclassic kids in the woods evil killer on the loose formula that we areall familiar with from numerous films. Horror movie clichés are tossedin the wood chipper as the film asks us to examine our own stereotypesand misconceptions about people. The film has a message but it does nothit you over the head like a pick axe with it.While not having the highest production values in the world and lookinga bit like a film student's final project, Tucker and Dale vs. Evil isstill an enjoyable film. If you enjoy campy horror films and liked theEvil Dead franchise I think you may want to sit down with your beverageand snack of choice and fire up your Netflix to check this out.
Two West Virginian hillbillies, are headed to their "fixer-upper"vacation cabin to drink some beer, do some fishing, and have a goodtime. But when they run into a group of preppy college kids who assume fromtheir looks that they must be in-bred, chainsaw wielding killers,Tucker & Dale's vacation takes a turn for the worse.....It sounds hilarious on paper, two hillbillies getting mistaken forkillers, should be a wonderful spin on the horror-comedy genre, butthis fails big time.it's not that the titular characters are not likable, it's the scriptand the supporting cast that bring the movie down. It's your predictable band of teens that are the target here, and Iknow it's supposed to be ironic 'n all, but a little change on thevictims wouldn't hurt a little would it? The jist of the film isthis...Someone dies, Tucker or Dale are near by, they do a silly look, and repeat and repeat and repeat. There is a sub-plot involving the confidence to ask someone out andfirst impression, but it's too bloody boring in the end to care about.A real let down.
So, usually my personal opinion coincides with the User Rating on IMDb,but this time i really have to disagree. It's somehow a mystery to me,how nearly everybody says this was a great flick with good laughs.Of course, it is meant to be a parody, but the events and actionsoccurring in the movie were just too unbelievable and ridiculous toofeel comfortable whilst watching. Nearly nothing in this film couldever happen like that in real life, it was just too absurd. It's likeyou are watching it and got to say repeatedly "Oh yea, of course", "Ohcome on". Like in a bad cliché action movie. Or in other words, ifthere were any laughs, they would have rather been due to the stupidityof the movie. I didn't see the great and original "funniness", that somany others may have seen. It was rather dull to me.The same goes for the characters. How can I like them, when they actcompletely strange and unbelievable? I couldn't identify with any alittle bit. I can't like characters who doesn't seem human to me. Ofcourse the characters show human qualities, which are even pointed outin the movie, but in the whole they were pretty awkward, unbelievableand strangely acting. I felt so uncomfortable with them. "ARENT YOUHUMAN PEOPLE? WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU GUYS??", thats what wason my mind. And that's true for all of the characters occurring in themovie. On top of that, the movie was predictable as hell. The events weren'tsurprising, nor excited nor anything. Just waited for them too occurlike i had been expecting them. There was nothing special about it,expect the thing that, like i had already said a hundred times, thescenes were completely unbelievable. It was just somehow boring. It were just those things that ruined the movie for me. The actorsthemselves didn't do a bad job, especially the main actors played theirawkward roles relatively satisfying. I also liked the idea behind themovie and it definitely had some potential, which sadly wasn't used. For that: 5 out of 10.
Titles are important.Too short, and you think there's something missing. Too long, and youthink they're over compensating.DO NOT judge this movie based on it's name. I know, it sucks. But thisfilm should not be overlooked. It drags in the middle, but it somehow manages to exploit generichorror movie plots, while at the same time, delivering all the laughsof a horror/comedy like Shaun of the Dead, and enough gore to make TomSavini cringe.Plus it has Steve the Pirate.
The first half of this movie is Really Great. I laughed out loud a LOT. One of the better spoofs I've seen, along with "My Name Is Bruce". However, the humour starts to fade a bit near the end so I docked one star, and some of the gory scenes made me wince just a bit. The two who play Tucker and Dale are Fantastic! I particularily like the guy who plays Tucker who I've seen in "A Knight's Tale" and "Dodgeball" before. The actor who played Dale was new to me, but did a good job as well. I would recommend this movie to others. It should give you some laughs. Not a typical kind of spoof movie where all the jokes are more stupid and make you groan instead of laugh. This movie is more unique and genuinely funny, came very close to 5 stars from me. My BF didn't enjoy it as much as I did, griped about hillbilly movies a bit, but still had quite a few giggles himself. :) I only recommend you do Not watch the trailer first as it will kind of ruin many of the funny parts for you!
Holy... This movie was just phenomenal. I thought I was in for acomedy, but "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" was more than just your averagecomedy. This movie definitely have potential to become a cult classic. You take a pinch of classic mid-80's horror movie, throw in a dash ofdark, twisted comedy, and top it off with wonderful characters, andvoilà , you have "Tucker & Dale vs Evil".The story is very good and interesting. You have two "hill billies",pardon my expression, but it is what they are called in the movie,Tucker and Dale who are heading into the woods to fix up their newlybought cabin. Then you have a group of college teenagers out in thewoods partying and drinking (fairly typical 80's theme right there). Then with the turns of events the groups run into one another. Theteenagers thinking that Dale and Tucker are hill billy killers, whileDale and Tucker only want to get Allison back to them. And from thereon, things escalate and become hilarious."Tucker & Dale vs Evil" have just the right amount of gore, blood, sickcomedy and funny situations in it to make it all work so well. I wasthoroughly entertained from beginning till end. And I must say thatthis movie is way up there on my list of favorite movies. The way thatthe people die in the movie is off the charts. I loved those scenes, especially because their deaths were usually self-inflicted, which justadded to the absurdity of the movie plot. The cast in the movie was great, especially Dale (played by TylerLabine) and Tucker (played by Alan Tudyk) were phenomenal. They reallybrought so much chemistry to the characters and made it anunforgettable movie. If you haven't already seen "Tucker & Dale vs Evil", then get in gearand do so, because this movie is definitely one you don't want to missout on. Once in awhile you just stumble upon a cult classic by accidentor sheer luck, "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" is one of those movies.
The premise of "Tucker & Dale vs Evil" is original and so simple and Ican't believe that none thought about it before. What if the rednecksare just some harmless and ready to help guys instead ofhomicidal, cannibalistic freaks?Well, our heroes are just as this.Dale isa clumsy, uneducated but not unintelligent lad while Tucker is the olderand more experienced part of the duo.Their plan is to spend somequality time at Tucker's cottage but unfortunately they meet a bunch ofstupid collage kids that mistakes them for murderous maniacs.A girlfrom the group suffers an accident,Tucker and Dale take her home tohelp her but the girl's friends think they kidnapped her and tryrelease her.Between the two parts starts a brutal fight, with boththinking the other side is trying to kill them."Tucker & Dale vs Evil" is basically a horror-comedy,but the the horrorpart is really brief. The title itself is a little deceiving becausethere is no evil that Tucker and Dale fight against, the conflict comingafter lots of misunderstandings. But this doesn't mean there aren't lotsof funny scenes, some good slapstick violence(the majority of deathscomes after various accidents) and an insane and almost unstoppablevillain.Tyler Labine delivers a nice performance as Dale and KatrinaBowden is really sexy as the poor girl who unintentionally starts thewhole mayhem. There is not a lot of gore,so even if you haven't a strongstomach you shouldn't avoid this film, which,by breaking the habits ofhorror, manages to offer a breath of fresh air.
Horror movies live and die by conventions. No genre more willinglyrehashes tropes and archetypes, or even entire plots. Perhaps horrorfans are so exhilarated by the first-time use of an effective originalhorror film device they are wont to indulge it numerous times untilfilmmakers have tapped out every possible riff on said device. This makes horror ripe for satire, yet prior to "Tucker & Dale vs.Evil," only the "Scary Movie" franchise has tried to exploit it forhumorous purposes. Even then, rather than clever, nuanced jabs, the"Scary Movie" series goes more over-the-top, inflating any scraps ofsatire with off-topic pop culture references. It's a bit confounding tobe honest, how the horror genre finally has found something that isboth homage to horror/comedy and subtly self- deprecating."Tucker & Dale" works off the basic premise of a miscommunication basedon horror stereotypes: a group of college kids on their way to vacationin some remote woods meet our titular fellasÂa pair ofhonest-to-goodness rednecksÂat a rest stop, and take them for a pair ofcrazies.Well, Tucker (Alan Tudyk) and Dale (Tyler Labine) happen to be on amuch-needed vacation at a cabin in the woods. One night out fishing thekids are skinny-dipping and one girl, Allison (Katrina Bowden), seesthem and accidentally falls off a rock and unconscious. Her friendsmistake Dale's attempt to rescue Allison for an abduction and plot away to get their friend back.A farce ensues that sees the kids misinterpreting what Tucker and Daleare doing around the cabin as prepping to kill Allison, yet in theirattempts to foil them, end up killing each other and consequentlyfueling their own illusion. Meanwhile, Tucker and Dale start to wonderif they're caught in the middle of a suicide pact. Eventually thingsbecome less predictable when the college kid Chad (Jesse Moss) startstaking the revenge game too seriously.Writer/director Eli Craig and spends time acquainting us with Tuckerand Dale to the point that we get a nice subplot going with theirrelationship, but also to make the college kids seems all the morestupid. We laugh at these characters in horror films because they'restupid, but "Tucker & Dale" does it with more self-awareness; Craigknows how ridiculous these characters tend to be in horror films too.Tudyk gives his usual grade-A character actor performance, but Labinegenerates the adoration for this film with his lovably dumb teddy bearroutine. He's a character we've seen before in comedy, but he does itwith such an honest innocence."Tucker & Dale" delivers a handful of predictable moments, but there'sa satisfaction in seeing them coming that you don't get in most films, simply because you want it to happen. That's part of the draw withhorror films, but the enjoyment for this movie comes in the comedicsense. In terms of satire, you know exactly what Craig is going for andit makes too much sense to not be able to appreciate it.The movie does veer a bit toward the end from its satirical foundation, but by this point the characters have earned enough favor that thestory plays out well enough. A more effective horror/comedy twist, however, would have been a nice addition. Craig doesn't manage to takeany jabs at horror that seem uniquely genius or insightful, but "Tucker& Dale" is also meant to be a product of love for the genre too, not acomplete berating. Those who love the silly thrills of horror will likely appreciate"Tucker & Dale's" self-aware perspective, and those who love to laughat the genre will have even more cause to do so.~Steven CThanks for reading! What if you showed a backwoods-horror movie where city slickers take awrong turn from the hillbillies point of view? What if they turned outto be basically decent folks who just wanted to go fishing at theirvacation home? And, finally, what if it was the hillbillies who had tofend off against a murderous psychopath and got to take the pretty girlhome? But of course make it so that our surrogate watchers, a bunch ofcollege kids out in the woods, should presume to know that hillbilliesare a bunch of violent inbreds because they're familiar with the samemovie lore we are, say Deliverance onwards. Make it so that a man witha chainsaw whizzing above his head recasts the most epochal scene fromTexas Chainsaw as accident. Our enjoyment is that we're always placed alittle closer, watching for a little longer, to know that there is nohorror movie outside what is being imagined. So there you have it; a Two-Thousand Maniacs with misunderstoodmaniacs. It's a clever idea, and new as far as I know in this field. Now if horror is generally looked down upon, even in cases of solidcraftsmanship, I wager it's for how it posits a battle with evil inabsolute terms. We know that life is more a complex struggle thanHammer served us. Every horror film that matters has innovated byplacing us one step closer to where real horror is assembled. Vampyrposited that it happened because we wanted to. Psycho moved the monsterfrom the swamps to next door, and that was important enough at thetime. Night of the Living Dead posited an entire world of insensatehavoc but with no malice in the instinctive drive. The Tenant and laterVidedrome transferred every visible distortion back in the retina ofthe mind's eye. In Possession, horror was the visual representationturned inside out from tortured soul. This is just as good in this way. There is no evil outside a series ofunfortunate events, we come to understand. There is only circumstanceand our built-in notions of what any set of circumstances ought tomean. With film having saturated so deeply the world we know, in a lotof these cases what we claim to know we know from movies. Our loss is that the idea must have seemed so striking and novel towhoever was approached to fund, that the project was rushed aheadbefore there was a chance to iron it out. So the first joke, a greatjoke, is played over and over again and wears itself thin. The finaleresolves with just sparks flying from a chainsaw fight. The extra layer that was probably tucked in at the last moment, is thatthe massacre backstory that we understood was just a campfire taleimprovised on the spot, and was generic like a Wrong Turn sequel, issupposed to be culled from real life. So there was truth behind thelegend, mangled many times over in the telling, that powers the chainof events to replicate it.It makes sense then that one part of the movie, where evil is imagined, always plays out like a movie. Every time he appears on screen, heswirls everything into the narrative he was taught to have sprung from. It's pretty nifty.
As an avid watcher of horror movies, I really wanted to see this filmdue to the buzz surrounding it. I have to say I haven't laughed at ahorror movie this hard since "Shaun of the Dead". It's funny, gory, romantic, and well made. It's obviously a low budget flick, but thatisn't really a factor at all. Actually, I think it lends a certainamount of charm to the films quirky atmosphere. I can't help but thinkthat if I were to make a horror film myself, that it would be muchdifferent. If you're looking for a fun movie to watch with friends, oreven alone, stop right here! It's not a 10, but it's a great movie andan over-all good time.
I've been wanting to see this horror/comedy for a while now and afterreading several great reviews for the film even more so but now thatI've seen the film I'm pretty disappointed. I was expecting to laughout loud and though there was some laughter it was too far apart fromeach other that there was too many gaps with no laughter at all andlike Shaun Of The Dead before it the gore and action is the best andmost entertaining elements of the film and both I considered overratedbecause in the end it's not first rate comedy and is more silly, funand likable in a B-movie sense than being truly tears coming down yourface funny. The characters and performances of course are disposablebut it seems like they had a ball making this movie and the heart ofthe movie is of course Tucker and Dale because without them this moviewouldn't work completely but for what it is it was a ball and it's agreat film to watch with your friends while drinking some beer but tome it needed better writing and timing of the jokes and referencesbecause the jokes just wasn't consistent to me and sure they had ahilarious concept on their hands but the way they delivered it wasn'teffective and to be honest they are just a tad too late in the game todeliver this concept to movie theaters because they have a lot ofmovies with this type of theme out there for this movie to competeagainst and stand out from, it wasn't a total failure but unfortunatelyit wasn't a total success either. Overall unless your in high schooland below you will probably won't find this funny and if you doprobably in the back of your head your thinking that this film is alltoo familiar and just not fresh anymore but it's all in good fun.Rental. 5.8 out of 10
