Funniest bunch of good guys ever

You will laugh your buns off. I laughed constantly without stopping when I saw this on cable. Tears rushing down my face constantly because of the laughter. I was wondering if they would ever release this on DVD/video when I was laughing my buns off as I was watching this funny video. George Lopez has got to be the most honest, hilarious, genuine comedian I have seen since Cheech Marin. His and everyone elses' love for their culture shines through and is so refreshing. The other comedians are just as entertaining individually in their own way. You will enjoy this DVD/video I guarantee it. Whole heartedly. Buy this video and you will not be disapointed. Think of the laughter you and your friends can have when you are enteraining. I recommend this highly. You will not be diaspointed.

Latin Kings of Comedy

This was a funny film, I like that they talk about the way hispanic are raised up by our moms and dads. The joke that I like more was the one about the way hispanic do not buy swim suits like other people, we just cut our pants into shorts.LOLMust see this video.

The Best Cmedy DVD In The World

This DVD is the best thing that can make you laugh. It has some of the best comedy peole in the world. They will tell you jokes that will make you want to listen to this DVD over and over again. But dont just listen to me about the DVD go ou there and see it your self.

Non-Spanish speakers beware!

This DVD is hilarious, of course, because all of the featured comicsare hilarious. However...if you don't speak Spanish, beware that youare actually going to miss about half of the jokes. We tried to turn onthe English subtitles, so that we could get the entire experience, andthe DVD doesn't translate the Spanish jokes into English on thesubtitles!!! That was a bit frustrating! We were disappointed thatthere was so much of a language barrier when we are more than willingto support the Latin Kings just as we have enjoyed many other comicswho have come out with DVDs/videos. I think the DVD would definitelyhave been better if we could have enjoyed all of the jokes.

An insight in Latino families

It takes a true comedian that does not use excessive profanity and explicit sex content. That comedian is Paul Rodriguez; but primary George Lopez.The first two comedians were not funny because they were raunchy; their hole comedy punchline was sex. Their jokes were too sick, raunchy, and disrespectful. George was so funny, listening to him was if I was visiting memory lane from my childhood. Yes George is right, we never develop our pictures, we let little ones learn the hard way, and every house has a Socorro. I am that Socorro.I gave the show three stars; but George receives five stars for his routine. So George, keep that funny sense of humor in tact. You really are a funny intelligant man. --S.L.

i finally understand my mother-in-law! amazing lifestyle footage from George Lopez. the fact that latino's are never happy for anybody was truly accurate. i married a hispanic and never understood why i did not get along with her mother until now. thanks, George, for the marital ammunition!

If you are a Latino (specially one living in the USA) you'll love this

A lot of "inside" jokes, that anyone who isn't hispanic and speaksfluent Spanish won't understand. But If you are a latino like me, tevas a cagar de la risa all through the show. Specially with GeorgeLopez's jokes, that are not only funny, but also provides intelligentremarks on the hispanic culture, on our customs and way of life thatmake you relate to everything he says. From how we say hello to eachother, to the way our people have become integrated into almost everyaspect and place in the USA. I give this show 9/10 because I didn'tparticularly enjoy as much as I enjoyed Lopez's act the othercomedians, although they all made me laugh.

Latino comedians shine

I thought this collection of comedians was great. It reminded a lot ofwhat Latinos actually talk about when they get together (I know myfamily does). Cheech was great as a host and the rest of the cast washilarious but you must understand Spanish to understand some of thejokes. **SPOILERS**Although funny what I didn't like about it was the vulgarity of some ofthe jokes. You can have very funny clean jokes, George Lopez was alittle more less vulgar. I really recommend the American Latinos to watch this. It will have youpeeing on your seat of laughter.

It is worth it for Paul Rodriguez!!

The gem on this DVD comedy special is the seasoned comedian Paul Rodriguez. George Lopez trails second while Cheech Marin's comedy time is confined to introductions only. You hear very little from him and Cheech wasn't exactly memorable. The first two comedians are just fillers for the evening in El Paso. Their names aren't on the cover. These unknowns use unfunny sexual humor that is often received by a limited audience! Gross sexual humor is overused and not a reflection of a truly great creative comedian. The comedy of George Lopez and Paul Rodriguez is similar is that they both do wonderful bits about their families. Some of Lopez's scenes are: "Mexican Families", "Negative Greeting Cards", and the funny "Bilingual Fast Food." Some of the funniest moments come from Rodriguez "The Chicken's Butt." He finally learns that this part was always delegated to him. Equally hysterical was "Bad Breath" about an uncle he says whose breath is so bad....even on the phone!Some other funny clips are "Washing Your Father's Car" and "Getting Money From the Bank." As I said, George Lopez is good, but Paul Rodriguez is better!.....MzRizz

funny as hell

i think this dvd is worth watching. you just got to have a sense of humor, and not be so uptight. the funniest part for me was when George was telling his joke about mexicans working at Jack in The Box,and cant pronounce words and how white folks ask for fountain drinks, not soda

Great comedy tape,inexpensive and funny!!!!!!!

This tape is a great introduction to Latino comedy in the United States.... I heard of this tape on Comedy Central, and never got the chance to watch it because I never had the time to do so.... but now that I've watched it... I advice you to purchase this tape, because you'll laugh with all the comedians... From Joey Medina's EATING FIDO TACOS FOR 1 DOLLAR, to Paul Rodriguez's story of his great UNCLE CAMILO... you're guaranteed to laugh with this videotape...Get it now while it's still cheap.....

Review - Original Latin Kings of Comedy

This is one of funniest stand up show's I have ever seen. George Lopez and Paul Rodriguez hit the nail on the head with their dead on great humor about Mexican culture. Absolutely HYSTERICAL!! My family and I have never laughed so hard. It was awesome!! I called my mom and said, "You have got to see this!" She's from Nuevo Laredo. So I'm buying the DVD for her.

When I first started to watch Latin Kings of comedy I was kinda bored with it. The first two comedians weren't that funny(and their considerd latin kings of comedy). Some laughs now and then but nothing too funny. But when George Lopez came on he saved this DVD. Non stop laughter. This man is truely the funniest Mexicano today(representing my people). Do you have to be Latin to get this. Not really. I showed my friend and he ain't latin but he was dyin when he saw this. The best part is the Jack in the Box skit."Ask a mexican what kind of fountain drinks do you have". You have to watch it to get the joke. Paul Rodriguez was ok. Probably the best part in his stand up is when he talks about washing his dad's car. Cheech Marin I was kinda dissapointed. He is very funny but he didn't really show it in here.So this dvd is funny and has good material but I feel they should've gotten more funnier comideans and replace the first two.Carlos Mencia would of been a good choice. If you find yourself laughing hard with this then I check out Why You Crying by George Lopez. It's more funnier stuff and better than this.

It's funny cause it's true!

This is the funniest DVD ever!! I could not stop laughing. Lopez and Rodriguez are the Kings of Latin comedy. More specificaly chicano comedy. George Lopez rules, the part when he talks about how mexicans are never doing nothing but we don't want to help anybody becouse we cant right now right now but maybe later, later later
