No other way to sum it all up...

This film showed close to how S. Carter, one of the greatest lyricistof all time came up right before he made a name for himself not only inthe Streets, but also in the rap game. With the informative videos andnice story lines to go with the videos, Streets is Watching is a greatway of understanding what the jiggaman went through on his way to thetop. Director Abdul Malik Abbott (State Property), did an excellent jobin capturing not only the situations Jay gone through but the differentscenes and views of Brooklyn were great. Overall I gave this movie aten, and would recommend it to even the hardest critique alive. I alsocan not forget to mention all the nice looking dancers in the film ;).

The Streets is Watching video is nothing but the truth!!!

This video/movie is the BOMB!! Jay-Z really knows how to represent where he's from and where he's at now. Jay keeps it real!! He's not down with all the flashy lights and glitter suits and sh$%. He just rocks T-shrits, jeans, sneakers and an "iced out" Rolex. That's a real ni*&%!! I hope he continues to make movies, CD's and whatever else is out there because everything he touches is HOT!!! yeah, Master P started the direct to video hip hop trend....... but you knew N.Y. cats would put their own spin on it.Not to bite but this is a BLUEPRINT on how to produce a long video/short movie: bangin songs,good production values and humor.the BAD chicks didn't hurt either.This is the vehicle that brought Jay-Z back after that "Sunshine/City is Mine" debacle. he even takes it back to the old school to visually prove to everybody that by 94, he became the subject of half of y'all's rhymes

Streets is watching was a good movie.

I think Memphis Bleek of Roc-a- Fella records is going to be a very good artist;I will meet him in person one day. That is my word!! I have already meant Jay-Z and the other people in Roc-a- Fella,but Bleek is my favorate rapper then DMX.

THIS THING RIGHT HERE IS FOR MY PEOPLES IN THE STREETS!!!

Start to finish, this is for the true hip-hop/rap fans who can appreciate the end result of hardwork. The money/cash/hoes may upset some viewers but its all a part of life for most innercity/suburban youth nowadays. Picture Quality and angles are on point for a videomentary of Jay-Z's road to the riches. No positive images portrayed but the point is hard work does pay off and legit is the way to go (you will believe it sooner or later). The way the videos interlock with the story will have you thinking Jay got this thing locked and milking it for all it's worth. Best Videomentary/Short Movie in rap history to date. Sound track is Banging. For a Friday or Saturday late night with your peoples or your Boo. Will he do this every other album?

jay-z kept it mad real for his fans

i think that the movie was one of the best of the year and jay-z and crew didnt need any acting classes to show people how things can be for some of us who are faced with the reality of our harsh environment. I would like to thank the whole rock-a-fella click for bringing marcy to the big screen.

Really Good Music Video Movie!!!

This is really good....it's just kind of sad that he had to make this video to show his rap persona after dropping the commercial written "My Lifetime Vol. 1."But he got his name back through this one and I guess that is what counts. This is really smart and I enjoyed watching it even after I seen it some years back.If you are a Jay-Z fan then I recommend that you see this and check it out.....it's worth a look!!! Peace out folks!!!

I saw the video and I feel that Jay-Z and kept it real .

The video was real . It defined the everyday life of a true "hustler".The best thing about it was no one was acting or trying to put on a show for the camera. In closing, I just love Jay-Z and will watch or buy anything with him on or featuring in it.

Straight honest, Jigga is THE best out right now!!!! This video is toooo hot to describe!!!! It's like an hour long video. When I heard it was like that, I thought it was gonna be trash, when I saw it though, the people I was watchin it with damn near threw me out!!! This video will definately get you out your seat. I turn up the volume all the way, cut off the phone and lock the door everytime I watch it. This is off the hook!!! I seen it a hundred times and I still wanna see a again. I borrowed the movie first time I watched it, tried to dead my peeps on it , they wasn't hearin it so I;m here at this site to get my own copy. This is a can't miss flick, see it and you'll understand!!!!!
