What a surprise!

And to think I almost didn't watch this show...The cast is perfect and the story line is surprisingly believable and abreath of fresh air! You can easily get swept away watching it. I havealways watched Rodger Corser in very different roles to his characteron this show. Now it's hard to watch him in anything else withoutthinking of 'Steve'. The characters Henry & Suzie have a realchemistry, but the sister is quite annoying. Guess that means she'splaying the part well! I just watched the last episode and was hopingthere's going to be a Season 2 (which is on it's way).We need more shows like this. Hurry up Season 2!!

Spirited - a lovely, quirky comedy that is a pleasure to watch!

What a wonderful show "Spirited" is - in this day of TV that must teachyou something, embarrass you or scare the heck out of you, it's a realpleasure to watch a show that doesn't expect anything from you but tojust sit back and enjoy. From the start you get swept into the story ofSuzie and Henry (and family and friends - a great cast all round) andthe impossible nature of their relationship. The leads - Matt King (comedian actor/writer from the UK) and ClaudiaKarvan (Aussie actress that's been on our screens for over 20 years)are cast perfectly as Henry and Suzie with the chemistry to match.I've just finished watching the final episode in the 1st Season andwithout giving anything away, I think it does give some answers butraises many more questions. These questions (hopefully) will beanswered in the next Season (which begins filming in Australia inJanuary 2011) and I for one cannot wait! If you can get hold of thisshow than please do so - it's so different from anything out there atthe moment and it's worth every minute!
