Hmmm...Copying off of Legally Blonde?

Legally Blondes was basically a rip-off of Legally Blonde except instead of Elle Woods, there were Annabelle (Annie) and Isabelle (Izzy) from across the pond. Many of the characters are like the ones in Legally Blonde: Sylvia is like Paulette, Chris is like Emmett, Mr. Golden is like the UPS Guy, Tiffany is like a Vivian (kind of), and Warner is like Justin. They also have a thing called the "flip and wave" (ehhm, bend and snap anyone?) that they teach Sylvia. The thing is basically all about how blondes shouldn't be underestimated & has a "trial" at the end. It was an okay movie, it would've been better if they hadn't copied off of the original.

LEGALLY BLONDES (2008)

I JUST SAW THIS ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL THIS PAST WEEKEND. (9/5/2009 OR 9/6/2009) I LIKED IT. I THOUGHT THIS WAS JUST GOING TO BE SOME KIND OF STUPID, BORING, TEENAGE RIP-OFF MOVIE OF LEGALLY BLONDE, BUT TO MY SURPRISE, I THOUGHT THE MOVIE WAS QUITE PLEASANT TO LOOK AT AND CUTE. I'M A SUCKER FOR AN ENGLISH ACCENT- HECK FOR ANY ACCENT AS A MATTER OF FACT- BUT THESE TWO GIRLS WERE NICE AND ENJOYABLE TO WATCH. I ALSO LIKED THEIR FATHER AS WELL, BECAUSE HE WAS ALWAYS THERE TO GIVE THE GIRLS SOME REALLY GREAT ADVICE AND TO ALWAYS BE IN THEIR CORNER AND STEER THEM IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION WHEN THINGS AT SCHOOL WAS NOT PLEASANT FOR THEM. AT ONE POINT IN THE MOVIE, ONE OF THE SISTERS WAS JEALOUS OF THE OTHER, BECAUSE SHE THOUGHT THAT SHE WAS TRYING TO STEAL THE BOY FROM HER WHO SHE WANTED TO GO OUT WITH. IT TURNS OUT THAT THIS RUMOUR GOT STARTED BY ONE OF THE GIRLS IN THEIR SCHOOL, WHEN REALLY ALL HER SISTER WAS TRYING TO DO WAS COACH THE BOY ON HOW TO ASK HER SISTER OUT FOR A DATE. IT WAS ALL REALLY SWEET AND INNOCENT AND WORKED OUT IN THE END. ALSO, ONE OF THE SISTERS WAS FRAMED, I THINK, ABOUT CHEATING ON A TEST OR SOMETHING, AND THE SAME GIRL WHO CAUSED TROUBLE WITH ONE OF THE SISTERS BEFORE, WAS ALSO INVOLVED IN THIS SCHEME AS WELL WITH THE HELP OF A FELLOW CLASSMATE. IT REALLY WAS NICE TO SEE HOW THE SISTERS AND THEIR FRIENDS PUT TOGETHER THE CLUES ON HOW ONE OF THEM WERE FRAMED BY THE GIRL AND THE GUY WHO HELPED HER AND THEN PRESENTED THE EVIDENCE AT THE SCHOOLBOARD HEARING WHEN THEY BOTH WENT TO TRIAL. THE COURTROOM SCENE WAS PARTICALLY FUN AND FUNNY, AND IT WAS ALSO FUNNY WHEN ONE OF THE SISTERS GOT LOCKED IN THE BATHROOM AND HER TWIN SISTER HAD THE WRONG BRIEFCASE WITH THE EVIDENCE THAT THEY HAD TO PROVE THEIR CASE. SHE THEN PRETENDED TO BE HER OTHER TWIN SISTER TO WIN THE CASE. IT WORKED. I ALSO LIKE THE DIRECTION THAT SAVAGE STEVE HOLLAND TAKES THIS PICTURE. UNDER HIS DIRECTION, I KNEW THAT THIS WOULD BE A LIGHTHEARTED AND NICE COMEDY COMING FROM HIM. I WAS A BIG FAN OF HIS WORK WITH HILARY DUFF ON LIZZIE MCGUIRE, AND NOW I SEE THAT HE HAS ALSO DIRECTED SOME OF THE WIZARDS OF WAVERLY PLACE SHOWS TOO WITH SELENA GOMEZ. NICE. THIS MOVIE I SURE DO WANT TO SEE AGAIN WHEN IT COMES BACK ON THE DISNEY CHANNEL. I'M GOING TO KEEP A LOOKOUT FOR THIS PICTURE TO SEE IT AGAIN.

Immature

The movie was a little bit immature but I think it is best for young movie watchers. It was entertaining but definitely not one of my favorite movies.

Laugh, laugh, and laughed again. So funny.

Legally Blondes was a whole lot better than Legally Blonde because Milly and Becky Russo were too cute and I love their accents. The movie was about Annabelle (Annie) and Isabelle (Izzy), as they fit into their new private school (Pack Prep is the nickname) in California, where they move. It had plenty of character and all the producers from Legally Blonde (Was his name Scott?) came back. I want to make a book adaption on my computer for this movie. I hope they make a sequel. Also, remember these healthy tips:Blonde Rule #1: Pink looks good with anything.Blonde Rule #2: Never pay retail!

The worst actor performance I've ever seen

I don't even know how to explain this, because I've never seen itbefore. Simply, I didn't find a single actor to act well in this movie,although it was not a low budget movie. My boyfriend just said thatthey wrote "Looking for low budget actors" for the casting. If youliked "Legally Blonde" don't watch this one, they have nothing incommon. By the way the camera guy shooting during the landscape scenesis great, but the one that shoots during people talk obviously doesn'tknow how to hold the camera. So obviously it was the worst movie I'veseen in a lot of time and I regret I choose to watch this one insteadof "Disaster movie"

cute little movie

i like this movie. it's seems decent and it seems like it's more for younger viewers. i do think that the original was more funnier, though. it's really cute that one twin wears dark pink and the other wears light pink. they look really pretty. they are like the mini versions of paris hilton. they even have little chihuahuas as pets just like her! and i love their british accents. sounds so posh and well-mannered.

Extremely cheesy , very pink and rather funny at times it is not asgood as the first two but I rather liked it though. I wasn't keen onthe fake English accents though ! But it is quite entertaining and abit of comedy. I wish Reese Witherspoon was in it though . I liked theidea of how they added cool designs and badges and things to the boringuniform . I personally thought the film would be awful but I was wrongit is a rubbish good movie if that makes sense . In ways it was rubbishfake English accents , rather superficial and a bit to pink but I wassurprisingly good in a way . I would recommend it to girls of 11-15 (I'm 14 though I was 13 when I last watched it ) I doubt very much boyswould like it unless the fancied they twins which is possible becausethey are kinda pretty and blonde.

Dissapointing!

LEGALLY blondes

I enjoyed Legally Blond first (rate 5), and Legally Blond second (rate 5) was not too bad, so when I was looking for something light, I picked up this Legally Blondes. Never I expected this movie would be this LIGHT (well, they don't have 0 point something)!I think the story is far from original. If there are many people who want to see this, it must be because it's title and how it mentions Elle Woods (who didn't appear for the whole movie)! So unfair! The dialogs between the twins were like a joke. The acting was awful and the play itself didn't help much. The movie was just too full of exaggerations (and most of them are not so enjoyable to see).The DVD ended in my trash after some fast forwards. What a waste of my time and money. I would never recommend this movie to anybody!

A very DISAPPOINTING movie

If you see all the three movies of the Legally Blonde series, you willfind that the third one, ''Legally Blondes'', is the worst one.Certainly the worst one. The 2001 movie ''Legally Blonde'' wascertainly a VERY excellent movie, but the second movie ''Legally Blonde2: Red, White and Blonde'' was not as good as the first one. But''Legally Blondes'', the third one, is really a VERY horrible movie. Afilm like ''Legally Blonde'' must not have a sequel like ''LegallyBlondes''.If you ask, what type of film ''Legally Blondes'' is? I'll say: Thereare two themes and they are: funny and fashion. The movie is about thestylish cousins of Elle Woods (one of my favorite fictionalcharacters), Annie and Izzy, who know nothing except fashion. Will thisfilm make you laugh? Yes, it will make you laugh. But it will not touchyour heart like ''Legally Blonde'' (2001) touched your heart. Becausewatching the movie ''Legally Blondes'' (2009) is nothing but a timewaste.

Movies like this should be Illegal.

I have no idea why Reese Witherspoon would associate her name to this film. She is a top Hollywood actress and this movie is pure garbage. As the first two movies in the series are focused toward an older audience, this is driven straight toward tweens. The production value is pretty much worthless even for a tween movie. Pure and simple, this movie is a cruel joke with the butt of the joke being the intelligence of the viewer. Tween or not, avoid this movie at all costs. It is quite possible that this movie beats out Dark Harvest 2 as the worst movie of all time.Why? Why? Why?

In The Woods Family Tradition

For the life of me I cannot understand the distaste for Legally Blondesby other viewers. It's a Disney Studio product geared at the teenmarket and hopefully launching Milly and Becky Rosso as a distaffversion of the Sprouse twins. What was everyone expecting?Possibly they were expecting something on the order of ReeseWitherspoon with that title and the fact that the Rosso twins were madeto be cousins of Reese's film character. I guess everyone'sexpectations were raised to ridiculous levels. The relationship to thefilm Legally Blonde was not even necessary for the film's story tounfold.Very simply the twins come over from the United Kingdom because they'rewidowed dad Christopher Cousins gets a teaching position. They are putin a posh prep school where after they challenge the reign of snobbishBrittany Curran as the queen of the school, they form their own set andwith fashion sense and common sense win over a lot of kids.But that doesn't sit well with Curran who with her minion Chad Broskeytries to frame one of the girls and a boy she's dating, Bobby Campo, ina cheating scandal. She also tries to split the twins themselves andalmost succeeds.For some reason school principal Lisa Bane takes an instant dislike tothe ingenuous Rosso girls. That's never really gone into except thatBane is on some power trip. They're nice kids, who could dislike themexcept evil people.The girls appeared on The Suite Life Of Zack and Cody and this film wasthe Magic Kingdom's way of hopefully launching them as attractions.Don't be surprised if they don't get their own TV series from Disneyyet.As for Legally Blondes it's amusing enough if you're not expectingReese Witherspoon.

A disappointing sequel that does not entertain and is not glamorous

This film is about two blonde twins from Britain, moving to the USA tostudy in their famous cousin's school."Legally Blondes" is a low budget rip off of the first "LegallyBlonde". The storyline is basically the same, only that it happens in ahigh school, and every that could have looked glamorous is downgradedto stuff you find in a neighbourhood charity store. A fluffy chickflick has this obligatory shopping scene of trying different glamorousoutfits in a store, but it does not even look glamorous orentertaining. I also could not tell between Izzy and Annie, as the filmmakes no distinction between them whatsoever. Maybe it was theintention of the filmmakers, but as a viewer I would like to know whichis which when I am watching the film. In addition, the level ofintelligence in "Legally Blondes" is woefully inadequate, it makes itseem like a teenage version of "Legally Blonde" but a lot worse. Inshort, "Legally Blondes" is a disappointing sequel.

Why?

So I watched this movie recently at a friends house, i was lookingforward too seeing it as being a teen myself I love teen movies and thefirst 2 legally blondes were very good but this is terrible,there is noessence of the magic the first movie has and frankly the predictableplot and generally bad acting makes this probably the first movie ihave ever given a 1 this movie was painful to watch and makes SoriortyWars and Mean Girls 2 look like masterpieces, if your a teen likemyself wanting to watch a teen movie go for any of the AmericanPie's/American Pie Presents series, Mean Girls 1/2, The originalLegally Blonde, Soriorty Wars or just watching 2 hours of teen programslike 90210, Gossip Girl,Glee or Pretty Little Liars.

Buy the DVD and get rid of it at the same day

Don't watch this, please.

I watched the second part of "Legally Blonde" and I liked it. And then,I watched this at a friends house, and I really didn't like it at all.The acting was beyond horrible ( I later saw that the twins were pulledfrom an audience and became actresses, which is silly), and the accentswere even worse. Not that And that's coming from me! I'm no kind ofexpert, and I'm not from UK, and I still saw how terrible the accentswere. It's all so predictable, and it was the kind of movie that shouldmake you laugh, but really never does. I mean, I'm 13 years old, and Ididn't like the movie. If I don't like it, who will? It's all fluffyand pink and blonde and glam and it's all about the rich girls withgreat lives in fairytale houses and with a bunch of ugly clothes (thatthey think is fancy). Overall, a huge waste of my time, don't eventhink about watching it. Horrible.

Elle Woods Cousins come to town

Legally Blondes is a really good movie. Granted it's not as good as the original Legally Blonde movie but hey it's still really good.This movie is about Elle Woods twin cousins (Annabelle and Isabelle Woods) who come to town from the UK. Their father just got a teaching job in California. Elle Woods does NOT make an appearance in the film BUT she is talked about a lot in the film. In fact the twins and their dad stay in Elle Woods house and there are a lot of paintings of Elle Woods and Bruiser displayed in the house. The girls go to the same Prep school as Elle so they are well known by the principal and not well liked by her and some of their classmates. One of the girls gets accused of cheating (I think it is Isabelle) so Annabelle and their friends have to present a case and evidence to prove that Isabelle is innocent. Watch the movie to see if the girls and their friends can save the day.There are some similarities about the Legally Blonde movies and the Legally Blondes movie. Elle, Annabelle, and Isabelle all love pink, they all have chihuahua's as pets (in fact Elle buys her cousins the dogs), and all three movies involve law type cases.Legally Blondes is aimed towards kids and teens but I am a young adult and I found it to be a really good movie. It had a really good storyline and the acting was good as well.

I like these twin sisters Milly and Becky Rosso because they are really cute! Milly and Becky have healthy sexy bodies. They are identical twin sisters. I like this movie alot.
