I WATCH THIS EVERYDAY!

I LOVEEEE this movie! take it from a 12 year old girl i can live without this movie! why do i like it? im not sure...maybe cuz i love the olsen twins? and i love the setting of the movie! the BAHAMAS! i have never been there before so its great watching it. i love ASHLEY OLSEN THE MOST! shes soo pretty! i love the plot on how they get all in trouble in teh bahamas and meet some hot guys~! i admit it is really corny once it gets to the part where the police get involved and their parents actually LET them off in the bahamas with a guy they JUST met...yes weird..BUT I LOVE THIS MOVIE!!

Dumb! Dumb! Dumb!

Have I already said this movie was dumb? Because it is! I have seen all of the Olsen twin's movies and this is by far the worse. The movies is pretty short but it feels like hours! It takes place in the Bahamas at the Atlantis Hotel. While the scenery is beautiful the acting is not. Mary-kate and Ashley spend the whole time flirting and giggling (with boys twice their age). The plot of they movie makes no sense at all and only comes ito play at the very end. I suggest that anyone who wants to see this movie waits till it becomes a .99 rental (if even that).

i feel the need.... the need for speed

So we love this movie. So much. We watch it honestly, every weekend. It is soooooooooo stupid that it's hilarious and worthwhile. It's amazing how they are so overtly rich and living a life that any 15 year old girl dreams of. Specifically, the best parts are the long conversations about "having your cake and eating it too" and "you made your bed, and now you have to sleep in it". They are painful to sit through and listen to, but entertaining nevertheless. We must say though, that the girls have terrible tastes in guys. Jordan is horribly ugly and the way he talks induces vomit. Same with Sam in "getting there" (what 16 year old finds guys with curly mullets hot??? ew!) Scott (Billy Aaron Brown) however, is starting to get hot. We are kinda forcing ourselves to think he's hot. Overall, see this movie if you have a good sense of humor and an open mind. They will never win an oscar, but the movies are just soooooooooo entertaining.

Not reallly me

I didn't really like this film I thought it was to slow and boring. It mainly about mary-kate and ashley and they find boyfriends and it goes on very slowly. Not my cup of tea but thats just my oppion I think a lot of people won't like this film. You know I do love mary-kate and Ashley but just not in this film. Although I think New york minute is very good (with mary-kate and ashley). i wasn't dissing you girls but not very good.

Terrible

There is no point to this movie. Honestly, you spend a little over anhour looking at various shots of the twins and the Bahamasrespectively. The whole antiques smuggling thing seems like anafterthought to give the story SOME plot. The acting was terrible andthe characters were highly unrealistic, especially the parents. Afterbailing their kids out of jail, the parents simply reprimand them andbasically act as though nothing happened. What annoyed me most in themovie was the script. It was stupid and utterly pointless. What waswith all those idiotic arguments that the twins had about variousproverbs? I mean, what was their purpose? I was forced to watch this bymy sister and we both agreed it was positively revolting.

Mary Kate And Ashley

This movie was very good. The guys we're VERY HOTT! But, the plot was kind of weird. The Bahamas (setting in movie) was VERY pretty! I would definetly recommend this movie to people who love Mary Kate and Ashley movies!

ONE OF A KIND

THIS MOVIE WAS GREAT.I THINK THEIR BEST MOVIES ARE PASSPORT TO PARIS,WINNING LONDON AND THIS MOVIE.I DEFINETLY RECOMEND IT.THEIR OUTFITS WERE SO COOL AND THEIR SO GROWN-UP.MAKE SURE YOU PICK UP A COPY.

Time to change the plot

Movie was released here in the uk recently so with some spare money Ispent£11 on this and well.... I could of used that money for something else itwas the kind of movie that made you want to put the foot through the TV.Theplot seemed similar to the last three or four films. I actually like themand some of there movies but this is one that I will not watch again in ahurry.

Holiday in the Sun

Holiday in the Sun was a cute movie! I thought that it was much better than Our Lips are Sealed(i mean come on who is dumb enough to spill their cover and go to ever state in the U.S. at least 3 times!but then again it's just a movie) I really liked there outfits and the scenery was beautiful. The Bahamas was a great place to film in. Mary-Kate and Ashely are really good actresses. I recomend this movie to kids or teens that enjoy watching Mary-Kate and Ashely. But it's just my opion though so watch this movie and find out! :) it's a great movie!

We don't have access to it in Australia and I'm not sure if I buy the DVD here that it'll work in mine! However I have heard that you can order it through the Borders book shop!

NO Point to "Holiday in the Sun"

This movie had cute moments, pretty clothes, etc. etc but not a point. It's about the same thing as "Passport to Paris". Simialer things: Girls are really popular, get the boys, boys ALWAYS like them, bummed abou their vacation, etc., etc. I did like the singing group, "Play: Us against the World" the songs were pretty good and so i bought the cd of it. But overall, I think this movie was mainly made for the money.

Quite possibly the worst movie ever made.

Flipping through the channels a couple months ago, I noticed Holiday inTheSun, the newest Olsen Twins movie. Having not seen one since they weremuchyounger, I was a bit curious. What was curiosity soon turned into utterfascination- at how this movie was ever made.Sure, younger viewers will eat this up, but even a pre-teen should realizewhat a pitiful movie this is. The twins, in fact, are the best actorsfeatured, which isn't saying much at all. Cliched to the max, the plotmundane and utterly implausible, I was left stunned, and even amused. Thecamera jerks away from whoever is talking, as I guess the director neededsomething to keep people awake while watching this train wreck. At timesthefilm switches to black and white, which is supposed to achieve a certainartistic effect, I suppose. Unfortunately, all they've done is switch on"black and white"; these people need to watch "The Man Who Wasn't There"toappreciate what art can go into b & w.

Great Young Adult Movie

For this age-group: Good script that kept moving forward, interesting location, a subtle mystery that only our girls can solve, and some young adult entertainment in the fantastic Atlantis location.Story:Mary-Kate and Ashley travel with their parents to the Bahama's for a needed family vacation and get entwined with international artifact smuggling through a cute boy they hook up with; all while touring Nassau and the Atlantis Resort.

Great movie but a little boring

The movie was ok but it's kinda just like another Mary-Kate and Ashleymovie...they go somewhere outside the US and meet boys..ever sincePassportTo Paris thats all they've been doing! I thought there movies were a lotbetter before Passport To Paris.

Enjoyable!

We like (some of us..love) Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen. One questionremains unanswered:Why do we like/love them so much..? Is it because oftheir talent and acting skills or maybe because of their cute faces?When it comes to acting..well let's say they are not the greatestactresses in the world or maybe they haven't revealed themselves assuch. When it comes to the good looks - they have it all. Even a girlcan admit that! However, one thing is always true:whatever they do theycatch our eyes and we are either in favor of their behavior or in atotal resentment."Holiday in the sun" is a nice film by Mk and Ash. We all know the kindof movies they still are into - adventures, troubles, guys, etc. Havingthis in mind this is one of their best movies. I really go back to itover and over again ( that can be said about most of their films - theyare catchy ). Back to "Holiday in the sun" . The title says it all andis absolutely at its place. They couldn't have said it better! Mk andAsh themselves did a good job as always! The other people in the castgave nice performances, too - entertaining and satisfactory! Ipersonally liked the little mystery involved - it was quite funny tosee Mk and Ash in the jail even for a little while. However, theyalways make a good team and this film is not an exception. I am a hugefan of the "Behind the scenes" part at the end of most of their films (other stuff as interviews as well ). That is really a nice thing towatch as the audience get a little closer to the stars and theirlives..

I Hate the Olsen Twins

I was forced to watch this movie at my friend's slumber party lst night. Let me start off by saying I don't like the Olsen twins. .... Okay, now that I have gotten that out of the way, here's what I think of the video. D-U-M-B!!! So what. Alex and Madison go off to a vacation in the Bahamas and make out with boys. They're only fifteen! Boys this, boys that. Too many of them! This movie is just a waste of your time and money. Unless you like to make out.

Holiday In The Sun Review

Holiday in the sun is funny and shows teamwork! Along with the romance it is also a mystery! Mary Kate and Ashley are the greatest! So far the best mary kate and ashley movie is HOLIDAY IN THE SUN! I can watch it over and over again and never get board! I really recommend it to girls from 9-13 but thats just my opinion! SO watch it! I LOVED IT AND ALWAYS WILL AND SO WILL YOU!

A great movie!

Alex(Ashley) and Madison(Mary-kate) Stewart, are two pretty fifteen girls who want to go with their high school on a trip to Hawaii, but their parents take them on a family vacation to the Bahamas! When they get their, its none stop action fun. Riding on Sea-Doos, swimming with dolphins, scuba diving, riding horses, going down water slides, and to go shopping? The girls ride on mopeds to shops with Caribbean dresses and straw hats. And, of couse, the girls have hot guys too!Alex falls in love with Jordan, a boy who works at their hotel, if a sneaky girl does not steal him first! And Madison has a huge crush on a boy named Scott, untill she finds out Griffen Grayson likes her! In the end, the girls get the boys of their dreams, and wind up dancing in a beautful beach party.

Complete Garbage

Save your yourself the cost of the video, this is on TV far too frequentlyand it is cheaper to change the channel than return the video. The entireplotline of this movie is how two teenage girls run around with two boysbreaking onto a yacht and stealing it, trespassing on private property,disappearing without telling anybody where they are going and lying totheirparents when they get caught. Clearly these girls are saying that if youhave money it is okay to lie, cheat and steal withoutconsequence.
