Movie Photos:
We have taken some photos of "Final Destination 3". They represent actual movie quality.
I Just saw Final Destination 3 Today and I can't get it out of my mind.I love the different deaths and sudden disasters. I feel that thismovie is a lot better than the first two because of the new properties. The Pictures that tell Wendy how the people die. I also liked thesecond premonition of the train crash at the end. Personally, Myfavorite death was the one in the weight room. I mean you thought thatthe swords were going to cut the guys head off. Didn't you! I know youdid. Any way, It was sudden for him to lift the weights and then theyfall sideways and crush his head. I really didn't expect that!!!I alsothought that the Roller Coaster crash Was really cool.Usually whenthere is a sequel to a movie it isn't as good as the first but thatisn't true for this sequel. It is ten times the excitement,Gore, andthrill as the first two. I myself am right now Writing FinalDestination 5 Because I hear that the fourth one is about a casinoaccident. If Any of you readers have any Ideas for deaths please e-mailme at DramaDude926@aol.com and Title it Final Destination 5. Thanks forreading. -DramaDude926
Final Destination 3, I have to say, is a good movie. I normally don'twatch horrors, but THIS one caught my attention. Not having seen thefirst two before this one, I had no idea what this movie was about orlike. Lone behold, I found out quite quickly(duh!).This movie is creative and heart-pounding which makes movies like thisworth watching, and everyone likes a good scare here and there. Withthe cast, the storyline, and not to mention the mood, this movie is aroller coaster all on it's own. It clearly gets you thinking twiceabout the things that are around you, and even gets you to be morecareful if done right(I know I am).Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Disney's Sky High) has the lead role in thisfilm. From start to finish she carries the movie and the flow of itwith every place she goes in the film. The new deaths assigned to thecharacters of this film were pretty gruesome if I do say so myself, andthey really make you feel the pain of the characters. I hate to say it,but like in every film like this one, there's always that one characterthat you really DO want to see go. From burning, to crushing, to beingdragged to your death-post by a fast-running horse, this movie reallykeeps you grossed out, scared, and waiting to see what happens next allat the same time. Although, I have to say, the ending killed me, but itleaves an even bigger reason for waiting for a fourth movie to arriveand shock us with what awaits the victims and us.Leading off with a crazy, yet, unlikely to happen roller-coaster crash,to numerous rising stars you know being killed off in the most tragicand devastating ways that actually make you feel sorry for them, FinalDestination 3 is a movie to see. And I saw it TWICE, just because Iwanted to.However, if you haven't seen the first, this movie may be hard tounderstand exactly what's going on, but it's still worth watching ifyou don't care or even if you do. But, if you're someone wholikes/dislikes rollercoasters, and are afraid you'll never ride themagain, this movie HAS done it's job, and it's probably not for you.Just the same, you'll probably want to see and like it. I know I did.
Final Destination started losing gas in the second film, and now thetank is nearly empty with this pretty awful sequel, Final Destination3. It's the same shtick, teenaged hero has premonition abouthorrifically violent CGI crash scene, teenaged hero freaks, gets kickedoff, saves friends, blah blah blah. The miscast teens are all annoyingly bad actors, including MaryElizabeth Winstead, the damsel in some Death-related distress.FD3 has the same quality, clever deaths of the first two, but it'sreally not enjoyable, and honestly, I don't go to the movies to seetopless girls screaming in agony as they slowly burn to death. This is not my definition of fun at the movies. 1/4
It's been six years since Alex Chance Browning and his friends werepulled off of flight 180. Six years since an unhappy "death" cameknocking, looking for those who had eluded the master plan. It's alsobeen three years since Kimberly Corman experienced her premonition, saving the lives of numerous people, for the time being anyway. As faras time passing in the film, it's been about three years and now comesthe time for me to venture to my local cinema for yet another juicyinstallment in the Final Destination series. Was I excited? Yeah, youcould say that. They asked me to purchase another ticket for myerection The film opens in the usual manner: A young, attractiveteenager has a premonition of a terrible accident that not only takesher life, but the lives of her dearest friends. Most of them just wantto get in her pants but I'm not gonna tell the bitch that. The firstfilm opened with an exploding airplane, the second, a traffic accidentand now we have the roller coaster. The idea of an amusement park ridegoing haywire is great because everyone has thought about the seat beltbreaking and the next thing you know, some kid's checking out yourinsides while chewing on a hot dog. The roller coaster accident wasdone fairly well but unfortunately, it could have been so much more. Iwanted to see the roller coaster fly off the track into a nearby Ferriswheel or maybe a daycare Imagine that carnage. Popcorn and crayonseverywhere I just didn't feel the accident was worth the fifteenminute build and it definitely didn't compare to the opening of itspredecessors. So once this opening has commenced, we delve into the plot. Yep, samecrap different day Death is after everyone who has survived the crashand our attractive lead, Wendy Christensen (Mary Elizabeth Winstead),quickly discovers that the horror is just beginning. The onlydifference between the plot of this film and Final Destination 1 isthat the hero has pictures that give her clues as opposed to visions.Besides the cast of characters, this is literally the only difference. The second installment was a great follow up because constantreferences were made to the previous film. The writers had not onlycontinued the story but expanded on the concepts as well. Now we get topart three and only one, tiny, miniscule, forgettable reference wasmade to the previous films. I could have handled this if the writersdidn't rehash the dialogue from the first film but we had to listen tothe characters banter back and forth about Death and his master plan. We've already been there people! Honest to God, it was like watchingthe first film all over again but with a less charismatic cast. Theplot was my number one problem with this flick, number two being thepacing, which was just a little slow at times.Even though the plot and pacing were off, the death sequences were ascool as always. The ten minute build before each death is getting alittle stale but thankfully, the pay off was usually worth the wait. Infact, one death in this installment has come to be my favorite of allthree films as a guy manages to get his skull mangled by a radiatorcooling fan. We also have the joy of watching a nail gun rape the faceof a young girl. Between The Nail Gun Massacre, Red Riding Hood andFinal Destination 3, I've seen more people nailed than in the last tenpornos I've watched. Seriously, I have seen about fifteen people in thepast few weeks that have met their untimely demise by a projectile froma nail gun. Speaking of pornos, we get to see a few busty bimbos fry intanning booths and, although I have seen death by tanning before, itwas not like this. We get to watch these two girls fry like sausages ona grill. Order up!! I have to say that the deaths deliver. After watching all three films back to back, I have come to a startlingrealization. Final Destination is Friday the 13th without the lake.Think about it the opening premonition is the equivalent of the campcounselors pulling into Camp Blood. Both events open the film and, during the sequence, we meet a group of young attractive teens thatwill ultimately die a horrible death, one by one. You with me so far? Then, you have a villain that can't be stopped and no matter what thechildren do, he will always manage to get the best of them. The onlyreal difference between the two villains is that Death can't perform acranium crush. Why? Because he doesn't really have hands, silly. Do Ihave to think of everything? Overall, when I look at Final Destination3 in relation to the series, I have to say that it was a miserablefailure. However, I rate each film as it stands on its own and when youdo that in this case, you are left with a decent horror film that isworth seeing. Unbelievably enough, the film actually works better ifyou haven't seen the previous ones. I just hope that the nextinstallment makes no attempt to continue any of the story lines. Justintroduce new kids and have them spend their time screwing and dying, nothing more, nothing less Like Friday the 13th baby! Just don't giveDeath a hockey mask.
This is by far the vbest movie of 2006 (besides big momma's house). Thegore is pretty much non-stop which goes for the killings as well. Iloved it, every scene was good and some of the girls were kindagoodlooking.I wont give away the deaths because you wont expect any of them. Inever expected how every little thing could be a part of someone'sdeath. Just like in all the final destination movies, the story isterrible but its a great movie. I didn't find one flaw of the film, except me and my friend were laughing every time someone died. Its better than I thought and the goriest movie of the year. (If youdon't like gore, then don't see it)
Im kinda half and half on this movie,, i thought that it had greatspecial effects,, funny as heck,, but not as much thought say as thefirst two movies, the characters in this one were kinda sorta dumb, andhopeless. but this one is much funnier than the previous two,, thereare certain sequences that i did like in this one,, like the tanningbed scene where the two h otties buy it.. the gym scene, just tomention a few of them,, i thought the plot line wasn't too bad,, justdidn't seem to have enough back-story i guess, i did like how theytried to tie in the first movie with the flight 180 , and then thetrain sequence at the end being train number 180,, i think this one isgood for laughs, and good death scenes, and is above average alltogether, but when compared with the other two in the series it doesfall short quite a bit,, but i gotta love the digital pic of thehottie's underwear.
All we can say is: Death be not proud. If you have to work this hard to take down these dim-witted kids, you don't deserve to be a cosmic force.
The new Final Destination film is a great film, really spooky and getsyou properly spooked. I rate this a 9 out of ten because the secondseries is better than the first and probably the third one.The firstperson that made a comment made a rude comment, that is not what youdo. I think people need to learn to stop being rude and listen to musicand chill. If u r there any of my relatives or my friend Jess Pittardjust wanna say hi. Thank you for reading this and bye. I think thateveryone should try something new everyday and not fight. Does anyonein here know Jesse MaCartney? If you do then I can tell you where helives because I see him in his house. Near a beach it is, very bighouse and posh.
With inventive ideas like this, the series can clearly run and run. But they really need to take it to another level now.
This film is about how a group of teenagers escaped death, when one ofthem has a vision that the roller-coaster they are taking will have afatal accident. After the twisted and complicated plot of "Final Destination 2", it isrefreshing to see that "Final Destination 3" has a straight forwardplot that is easy to understand. The little thing that sets itdifferent from the other "Final Destination" films is the presence ofsome photos in this film. Though the plot is familiar and is quitepredictable, there is still enough suspense and thrill to make "FinalDestination 3" worth watching.
If you're a fan of the first two flicks, then you'll probably dig thisone in some way. During the beginning, there is a lot of sex humorwhich is very awkward due to the fact that the actors are in theirtwenties playing teenagers. It just feels wrong. Some of the editing isa little too MTV-quick. You miss out on probably really cool effects.Obviously the highlight of the movie is the killer death sequences. Ithought they were well executed and very realistic looking. However, like I said before, sometimes they just happen too fast so you can'tget a good look. A lot of the characters will irritate you, but itmakes it easier to accept and appreciate their untimely deaths.
Definitely not as well done as 2, but the FX and creatively stageddeaths remain exceptional. The acting and dialog, however, are even worse. The only exceptions areChelan Simmons and Crystal Lowe that play Ashley and Ashlyn, theover-tanned, rich-kid airheads who are, of course, responsible for thenudity. They are also, contrary to standard practice in teen horror, the best acted and take part in the most entertaining scene in thefilm, which, of course, takes place in a tanning salon. That scene alone does not make it worth watching in a theater. As acheap full-moon rental that you can replay and fast-forward to theother deaths, it works.
Well not much to say about it but i did think it was a good film. buthow some die i do think they could have made it better somehow. I wouldlike to see a Final Destination 4 but not sure if i ever will? How everi do believe that if there was a Final Destination 4 it would beboring.Dislikes: The way the two girls get killed ( how good it looked butunhappy to watch them burn) acting was not the best (good but not 110%)Likes: How the girl saw everything in pictures. I did like the DVD withthe "control the kill's" ** New Part ** I just tryed out the "Controlthe kill's" I am very unhappy with this as i ended the film within 5mins of it starting ...... UNHAPPY. It was OK but anyone buying itplease watch the film and then if you wish to HATE this film watch the"control the kill's" part! **New Part **i would like to see a game from all of this.Hope you liked my review its my first. :D
This movie is the third one in the series. Again, the deaths are moregruesome than the first and second.*Spoiler Alert* The movie starts with Wendy Christensen(Mary Elizabeth Winstead) andher friends about to ride a roller coaster. Then, Wendy has apremonition about something going wrong on the roller coaster whichcauses anybody who rides it to die. She panics and gets off along witha few friends. When the roller coaster takes off, a few seconds later,a huge accident occurs which gets everybody killed. Now, Wendy and herfriends must do anything they can to survive as Death is killing themoff one by one.*End Spoiler* I give this movie 10 stars out of 10. It's another great sequel!
This movie was downright awful. The first one wasn't bad, the secondone was a little worse but acceptable, this one was just bad. The firstand second movies were pretty cool to see how creative the writerscould get in killing off people, in this one, it just went too far.Death somehow found ways to completely defeat all laws of gravity andthe universe in his unending quest to kill off the survivors of theill-fated roller coaster disaster that started the film which surprisesme since one of the characters seemed to know something about them. There was more unintentional comedy in this movie then an episode ofMaury. While some people were cringing at the barely gruesome deathscenes, I found myself hysterically laughing at the sheer absurdity ofit all. Some of you may quip that the movie is supposed to be like thatbut I will be the first to say I enjoyed the first one and the wholeconcept isn't all that bad. Unfortunately this movie I just could notswallow. Thankfully I was able to see a free screening and will neverhave to spend a dime to experience this movie again. Good luck to allthose brave enough to try this movie out.
& This Like Most Horror Film Bases Things Around Suspense Or One BigTwist At The End. This Was Made In 2006? How The Colour Looks In ThisFilm It Looks Like 1992. The Plot Is That During her Graduation Dayparty with her school at the local amusement park, 18 year-old WendyChristensen has a violent premonition of a fatally horribleroller-coaster crash involving her and all her friends. After being letoff the coaster along with half the other students the coaster starts.Only when the premonition comes true and everyone on the coaster, including her boyfriend Jason, dies, does Wendy realize that it wasjust the beginning. Teaming up with fellow classmate Kevin, whosegirlfriend also died, they begin to realize that because they escapedtheir fate they now have to stop Death from it's plan of killing offthe survivors and sealing their fate. They use the picture Wendy tookat the Amusment Park to find clues to their friends deaths and try tostop them. They also need to find out who was sitting in front of themand help them cheat death, before they're next. Will they intervene orwill Death have its way? & Personally I Can't Buy That. The Only ReasonI Gave It A 2 Instead Of 1 Is Because I Like Gore In Films & This FilmIs Gory. The Acting Is Okay For A Horror Mary Elizabeth WinsteadOutshines The Cast In This Horror Film. One Big Plot Hole Is That...NoOne Checks The Roller-coaster For That Leak When They Get In Come On.The Deaths Are Predictable Because Things Break Or People Put ObjectsIn A Place That Is Dangerous.Rating: 2/10
No doubt Final Destination 3 was the best movie of the series this one was way to gruesume which i loved overall final Destination 3 deserves 31/2 stars this movie rocked! I might go see it again. The deaths were also totally original makin you wana be scared of that particular item or whatever!
Poor Death. The guy can't seem to catch a break. He's got a job to do,and now for a third time he's being kept from doing it. What's worse ishe's being foiled by a bunch of high school kids! That can't be goodfor the ego. Within that context you can't really blame the guy fortrying to finish the job. Heck, if I were Death I'd totally relishtaking some of these brats out. Particularly the guy who calls himselfFrankie Cheeks. Sheesh, if that guy were any more annoying then hisname would most likely be Chris Kattan.Anyway, this is a movie that's very easy to review. Did you like thefirst two entries in the "Final Destination" franchise? Do you like towatch irritating characters meet unseemly demises? If so then you'lllove it. If not then save your money. I don't want to hear anycomplaining.Personally, I morbidly enjoyed it. The movie starts off with acringe-inducing roller coaster disaster, one that will likely make youthink twice about setting foot in an amusement park again, and itrarely slows down for a breather. The filmmakers set out to ensure thatthe viewer, like a child at Neverland Ranch, is never at ease, and thatgoal is accomplished as each scene leaves the viewer nervouslyanticipating who is going to die next.Yeah, yeah, Wendy and Kevin are desperately trying to save their peersfrom Death's cruel hand, but come on. We all know somebody's head isabout to be turned into ground beef or somebody will be on thereceiving end of a dismemberment soon. We wait ... wait ... wait ...and then BAM! Gory kill. I should probably feel guilty for laughing outloud at some of these fatalities, but since these are silly littlecharacters that didn't die in real life I've decided not to let itweigh on my conscience.A new element to the franchise is that clues are being left as to howthe characters will die. Using her nifty digital camera, Wendy was busytaking pictures for the yearbook on that fateful night. After theaccident, she begins examining the pictures and realizes that she hastaken at least one picture of each survivor. A little more studyingreveals that she might be able to use the photos to help the charactersescape Death. Is this a case of Death playing a sadistic game withWendy and Kevin, or is there some sort of benevolent life force that'strying to help them save their friends? The filmmakers leave it up tothe viewer to decide. This is a nice touch that keeps the viewer actively involved in thecinematic proceedings. It gives us the chance to try to interpret theclues and guess who might be Death's next victim and how they'll beviolently killed. Perhaps that's not exactly an activity you want toparticipate in so keep it in mind before laying your money down. One thing that really gauges whether a movie connects with its targetaudience is the crowd's reaction, and I have to say that "FinalDestination 3" got the loudest, most involved reaction I've witnessedin quite a while. While the deaths were being thrown at us fast andhard, the audience was oohing and ahhing with every single one. Duringone particularly brutal scene a girl behind me let out a high-pitchedshriek so loud that I had to turn around and make sure Chris Tuckerhadn't wandered into the theater. No one goes to see a "Final Destination" movie with the expectation ofgreat acting and high brow art. They just want to be scared or freakedout. Love it or hate it, there's no denying that "Final Destination 3"at least forces you to have an opinion about it. It'll make you cringe,it'll make you turn your head in disgust, but at least it's originaland creative enough to make you feel something other than absoluteboredom like some other so-called horror movies out thereCOUGHwhenastrangercallsHACK.If just one person decides not to ride a roller coaster the next timethey're at an amusement park then the filmmakers have done their job.
In the first Final Destination, a student's premonition of impendingdoom aboard an Airplane led to several students and a teacher beingevicted from the doomed flight, only to be picked off one by one by anunseen force in the most peculiar ways.In the second Final Destination, a student's premonition of impendingdoom on the Highway led to several people being spared from the doomedroadway, only to be picked off one by one by an unseen force in themost peculiar ways. Note, for the most part, both of these explanationsare identical with the exception of a different word here or there. So, what do you think will happen when the third Final Destination isset at an amusement park. Now don't mistake my comments for overt or ruthless criticism, becausein many ways, I will admit that I enjoyed this movie- but only on thesame level that one might appreciate a well placed raspberry sound froma younger sibling at the most inappropriate time at a wedding betweenpeople you really can't stand. This time around, Mary Elizabeth Winstead plays Wendy, the weepy highschool "control freak" whose foresight saves her life and the life ofmany of her class mates. Of course, after the fact Wendy retreats intoa bitterness that causes her to reject all of the other survivors, especially her best friend's boyfriend Kevin (Ryan Merriman) when hetries to suggest that another force might be at work. Ironically heisn't given the opportunity to convince her, however when she convincesherself, he is no longer convinced. Go figure!Of course, as is standard fare in this franchise, we are treated towind, and shadow, and usual hints about the doom that is about to come, and in turn dooms each of the survivors until there are only threeleft. No doubt fans of the franchise will readily accept and enjoy this film, but for those who haven't seen the first two movies, I would recommendputting it off until you see them. And for people who, by nature, are not fans of horror or gore, but whoare nonetheless interested, I would recommend you stop at the firstone. Parts 2 and 3 will no doubt seem like the repeated whipping of adead horse. And here's a premonition- coming in 2009...Final Destination 4- at sea!
I went to see this yesterday and i thought the story is exactly thesame as the other 2 but with different people. In the cinema peopleLAUGHED when someone died because the circumstances in which they diedwere so unbelievable. This movie was only good because the deaths wereso funny, as everyone in the cinema agreed and i've seen both 1 and 2and when they came out they were very original but now it's justgetting boring(for me that is everyone has their own opinion). If you've seen the first 2 i don't think there's any point in going tosee the third, but if you haven't seen either of the first 2 i supposeit would be a good movie.
