I was a bread man delivering for Kilpatricks Bakery of Oakland,out ofAntioch,California in the late 1980s, and served bread and hamburgerbuns to Orwoods Resort, a boat ramp and campground in Brentwood,California. This was the site where much of this coming of age moviewas filmed. I was in the background during much of filming and rememberthe excitement that everyone in the area felt while this movie wasbeing made. After the movie was wrapped up, everyone was waiting forits release. I never saw it at the theaters, so I figured that it wasnever released. I then found out that it was released and was also outon VHS. I cannot find it, but would love to see it. Does anyone outthere have a copy or could make me one? I would love to see the movieand also see Brentwood of 1987 again! By the way, Orwoods Resort isstill in business and still a hot spot during the summer for waterskiers, jet skiers, and fishermen to put their boats into the water ofthe East County Delta.
